Buy the Astair Tee sewing pattern from French Navy. The Astair Tee is a boxy, everyday T-shirt with dropped shoulders, a split hem and the option of short or long sleeves. The short-sleeved version has a cute folded cuff – just perfect for playing with stripe direction – and the long sleeves are slightly cropped and generously cut so that they can be rolled up easily.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight knits with moderate (20-40%) stretch. This pattern is not recommended for fabrics with a large amount of drape.

Fabric requirements:

View A: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 121 cm (1 1/3 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric: 153 cm (1 3/4 yd).

View B: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 150 cm (1 5/8 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric: 155 cm (1 3/4 yd).

Sizing: A – H (approx. UK 6 – 18/20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread; stretch/ballpoint needle; fusible knit/stretch stay tape for reinforcing the shoulder seams; ballpoint twin needle (optional, for sewing the hems).
