Excellent pattern and instructions. I was never super confident sewing stretch jersey so avoided all patterns. Having received a Birthday gift of 5 lengths of Jersey it was time to start. I bought the Astair as I prefer boxy fit t shirts and liked the look of the sleeve style. To say the instructions guide you through is an understatement- they held my hand. I was so sure the neck band would be an issue for me. It wasn’t. The pattern pieces are accurate and just fit together perfectly. On my second make I even felt confident enough to tackle the neck seam cover, again a great success. I have made 4 including the long sleeve version and will be making more. I have used good quality jersey (gift)and confidently wear these for work. I also see this pattern as a great lounge wear or pyjamas make.

I recommend you do as advised and read all the pattern before you start. I appreciated the tip of how to sew the ends of the seam near the folded hem – thank you.
