Great long sleeve tee

This was my first real attempt at sewing with a knit fabric. Because of that, I didn’t have huge confidence in the outcome but the instructions were very clear, it came together pretty quickly and I really enjoyed the process.

I like the split hem, the dropped shoulders and the fact that I don’t have to modify the sleeves for my short arms and, most of all, I like the shape of the neckline which is often too high for me in rtw tees.

I’m delighted to have found this pattern as it really suits my proportions – I’m 5 foot 2 inches tall. I’m planning on making the short sleeved version pretty soon and have the perfect fabric waiting in the wings.
