Buy the Adrianna Dress sewing pattern from Friday Pattern Company. Adrianna is an easy to sew dress that makes a big impact! This is a pull-on, A-line shift dress that features large statement sleeves brought in at the shoulders and wrists with elastic. The neckline is high in the front and slightly dropped in the back. This dress can be sewn up in a day and worn on the dance floor that night!

Suggested fabrics: Adrianna is designed for wovens, and can be made from a wide variety of fabrics! It looks fabulous in silk but can also be made in rayon, linen, lightweight cotton, and more. The sample pictured is made from silk charmeuse.

Fabric requirements: 

Sizes XS – M: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 3.3 yd (3 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.25 yd (2 m) // 60″ (152 cm) wide fabric: 2.25 yd (2 m).

Sizes L – XXL: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 3.8 yd (3.5 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.88 yd (2.6 m) // 60″ (152 cm) wide fabric: 2.33 yd (2.1 m).

Sizes 1X – 4X: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 4.13 yd (3.8 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 3.88 yd (3.5 m) // 60″ (152 cm) wide fabric: 3.13 yd (2.9 m).

Sizing: XS – 4X (approx. UK 6 – 28). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements. The model in the green dress is 5’5″ (165 cm) and wearing a size small.

Notions: Matching thread; 1 1/2 yd (1.4 m) of 1/2″ wide elastic. Use bra strap elastic if possible. It is stronger and more durable than standard elastic. But if you can’t find bra strap elastic, standard elastic will suffice.
