Look one:
This was a look from one of the first challenges, I particularly love the tartan trews. We thought Closet Core Phoebe was a great option for the coat—oversized, double-breasted and with similar pockets. For the jumper the Vivkisews Meg has a similar silhouette. The Sew Over It ultimate trousers would be perfect for your trews.
Look 2:
Next we have this fab kilt and jumper combo. For the kilt, Folkwear have a great option you might want to add a few more buckles for detailing. For the jumper the Named Sloane sweatshirt would work well, this is such a great pattern i f you haven't made it yet!
Look 3:
This slinky shirt was a roundtable look. For the shirt the Este from Atelier Jupe would be a fab option, but if you already own a simple shirt pattern that would also work well. For the trousers the BF Taylor pants, the variation without the pleats at the front.
Look 4:
We had to include a cape! She's worn one each series and has become synonymous with the show. The pattern we chose is the New Look N6768 which felt similar. Please ignore the giraffe print fabric!
Look 5:
I love this look. The coat was a close match with the Bella Loves Traveller, it might need to be lengthened slightly. For the shacket the Bara Studio Thea, size up to make it boxy. For the leggings the Helen's Closet Avery are a great option and really popular within the sewing community.
Look 6:
There have been lots of beautiful tailoring pieces, I cherry-picked a couple of my favourites. The Vickisews Fernanda is a fab double-breasted option just leave off a set of buttons. For a more relaxed jacket the Maker's Atelier blazer is a stong choice.
Look 7:
This was such a fun look full of drama! The coat option we chose was the Fibremood Hunter, this pattern has been around for a while and is fab. The jumper is the Ready to Sew Joko which had that oversized feel with the polo neck. For the skirt with all that drama the McCalls M8482.
Look 8:
Last but not least we've we got the Tessuti Amara vest, wear this over the Assembly Line tie blouse. For the leggings I've used the Helen's Closet Avery again as they have been so popular.
