FIND THAT PATTERN: DAISY JONES AND THE SIX
Daisy Jones and the Six on Amazon Prime is my must-watch program of the year so far. A fantastic story, beautifully shot, and has a wardrobe that made me go weak at the knees. My partner go so bored of me pausing it to take pictures that I had to watch it on my own! I’ve even got the album blaring as I write this.. overkill I know. So with this in mind, it only felt right that we hunt out the patterns for some of my favorite looks.

First up we have the beautiful dress that Camila wore, I love the mix of prints on this dress. We have two great options for this, the first is a vintage reprint from Vogue (9076) with loads of great 70s details. For a slightly more modern take on this classic the Philomena from Style Arc with its shirred front panel.
Well, we couldn’t not have a caftan section, could we? These featured heavily in Daisy’s wardrobe, especially in the scenes where she was in Greece. We have three fantastic options for you to choose from and the Vogue 1886 is actually another vintage reissue. The Butterick 6683 and the Simplicity 9323 would also work fantastically so it’s really just picking your favourite.
As soon as I saw this shot of Simone coming off the boat in this amazing orange and red get up I knew the perfect pattern. The Saguaro set from Friday Pattern Company was pretty spot on, and if you pair it with the Burda 6244 you’ve nailed it.
This dress was one Camila wore when she visited the band on tour. I love a bit of leopard print so was instantly drawn to this look. The pattern that I think would work well for this is the Vogue 9343, all you’d need to add is a long tie for the neckline to complete the look.
This dress to me personifies 70s fashion, the iconic jersey wrap dress. It’s a shape that never goes out of style. The Vogue 8379 comes with a long and short sleeve version.
Daisy wore a lot of these wide-sleeved sleeved open robe style tops with either a little tank or bra top underneath. I’ve got two great options for the robe tops either the McCalls 8000 or the McCalls 8120. for the top underneath the Waves and Wild Superstar bra, it’s got lots of options to change the style, and looks like it would give good support.
Another stonker of an outfit from Camila, she is visiting the band when they are on tour. I’ve got two Vikisews patterns that worn together would make the perfect outfit. For the top, the Edwige blouse… look at those sleeves! The Daphna is the perfect wide-leg trouser option.
Last but certainly not least the showstopper that Daisy wore at the final performance. I loved this look for much and thought that the Vogue 1627 was a fantastic option.
