BREAKING THE PATTERN – BOOK REVIEW – NAMED CLOTHING

BREAKING THE PATTERN – BOOK REVIEW – NAMED CLOTHING
Kate Underdown

Let’s be honest we’re all pretty excited about the release of the band new sewing book from Named Clothing. In the video below I’ve done a full review of the book so that you can decide if you need it in your lives.. I’m afraid the answer is that you do!

So What do you need to know? The book includes ten sewing patterns, each pattern has two variations so twenty patterns in total and tutorials on how to do more with each pattern. Essentially you can make 50 items with this one book.. what’s not to love? Named Clothing are known for their paired back aesthetic and the book has a modern chic feel.

Each project in the book has step by step instructions and if you’re a beginner start at the front of the book with the easier stuff, for the more advanced maker head to the back for the trickier makes like the coat on the cover. All the patterns come at the back on the book on paper, the pattern pieces do overlap so you’ll need to trace off the projects that you like.

We know you’re going to love this, so it’s time to grab a cup of tea, sit back and take a peek inside the cover of ‘breaking the pattern’ from Named Clothing. Below we’ve edited some of our favourite patterns for you to peruse.
