Happy Sunday Fold Liners! It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

If you like a little company while you sew and want to keep up with the hot releases.  You might want to hit subscribe and never miss a thing.

The Paper Theory Patterns Zadie Dress is a relaxed and easy-to-wear wrap dress version of the Zadie Jumpsuit. It wraps around the body and is held in place securely with a tie belt so there is no need for buttons or a zip, nor too many fitting issues as it can be tightened or loosened to suit. The dress can be sleeveless with a dropped shoulder or have wide 3/4 length sleeves. The skirt is midi length and has in-seam side pockets. The neck edge is finished with bias binding.

Note: You can also make a Zadie Dress using the Zadie Jumpsuit + Zadie Dress Expansion patterns if you’re a Zadie-lover already!

This is a much-requested hybrid created from two popular patterns: the Nina Lee Kew Dress and the Portobello Trousers. These vintage-inspired designs come together to create a timeless jumpsuit perfect for year-round dressing. With a faux button placket front and concealed zip back closure, you can choose between sleeves and straps and you’ll get compliments for super-styling either way!

Now in Merchant & Mills extended size range, the Trapeze Dress is a useful piece. The flared dress has the option of a button through back or a simple slip over the head. Includes three sleeve options: sleeveless, short sleeve and long (3/4) sleeve. The Trapeze is so easy to make and so easy to wear. Make it for winter in Harris tweed teamed with a chunky brogue, in a bold block print or in a washed linen for summer. Try it in denim or cord for a workwear look. It is endlessly versatile.

The Juliana Martejevs Riley Dress cleverly combines the airy lightness of a dress with the sporty charm of a polo shirt. This relaxed maxi dress features a polo collar, long sleeves, and side slits. A stylish and comfortable choice for autumn/winter.
