Meet Babette, the new apple of your eye – a pair of high-waisted trousers (jeans) with wide legs, all the pockets and a zip fly. Never sewn a zip fly? Not a problem! The instructions will show you how to sew it from the first stitch to the final press. Wear these jeans ankle length or even floor length to boost their retro feel.

Suggested fabrics: Your best bet for Babette is stretch or no-stretch cotton twill. They will also look divine in corduroy or leather(ette).

Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 195 – 275 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 125 – 230 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 58 / US 0 – 26 / UK 4 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 26/28, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Thread; iron-on interfacing, max. 55 cm; 1 jeans button, 2.1 cm diameter; 6 decorative rivets, 0.9 cm diameter; lightweight cotton or lining, 20 cm; closed-end zip.
