Paris Top PDF

Orageuse

Temporarily Out of Stock

Buy the Paris top sewing pattern from Orageuse, it features boat-neckline and curved hem. It’s a straight, boxy crop top, slightly longer at the back than the front, with boat-neck and triangle-shaped yokes on the shoulders. A zip is inserted in the center back, with elbow-length fitted sleeves.

What we think:  a classic shape never goes out of style and once you’ve nailed the fit of this you’ll want to make one in every colour you can!

Suggested Fabrics: Medium weight woven fabric with some stiffness: e.g. canvas, gabardine, thin denim…

This sewing pattern is available in PDF format. The PDF pattern will be available to download immediately after purchase.

Note: this pattern us currently out of stock because it is being updated by the designer, it will be available in the shop again soon!

5 out of 5 Orageuse Paris Top jersey version

    sewingalacarte

The Orageuse Paris Top is even for a less experienced seamstress a sewing project that can be made. The sewing of triangle- shaped yokes on the shoulders is the only thing that needs to be done with some care. I’m more then pleased with my new Top. I used jersey instead of a woven fabric. A detail is the added zipper at the center back. I made my version in size 6 and made some fitting alterations to the side seams. The hems also have a slight curve and two small slits are added in the side seams. The yokes are made of the wrong side of the fabric to add contrast. The slightly curved hems are looking more feminine in my opinion and the added slits are a cute stylish detail. Perfect Top for Summer and Holiday. http://www.sewingalacarte.nl/2018/04/orageuse-paris-top-fitted-jersey-version/
