I made the Paris Top in Merchant& Mills tencel/linen, as it’s easy to work with and I wanted to try out the pattern before making a version in the lovely drapey fabric behind me.I made a size 18 with no adjustments and the fit is spot on.
The only changes I’d make next time would be to have larger seam allowances in some areas to allow for French seams – the finishing on the inside isn’t all that neat.
I really recommend this pattern – it wasn’t complicated, was relatively quick to sew and makes a really lovely, dramatic top that will suit many people!
