Grid printed Elsbeth

The Elsbeth Woven Dress is a gorgeous and different style with a fitted skirt with a back vent and a voluminous top. You need woven fabric with some bodice and drape at the same time. I used a Lyocell and linen blend in a grid print. I added a self drafted lining to the skirt part because I wasn't 100% sure my fabric wasn't see-through in a fairly fitted style like this. There is a long invisible back zipper and the cuffs plus front waist has these beautiful folded bias tape details. This is not a fast make and I would vey much encourage you to make a muslin first unless your body all over is the same size, which mine isn't. I blended size 8 for upper/top and sleeves with size 12 for lower half/skirt. I have much more information and photos in these two posts on Instagram. HERE and HERE.

I'm extremely happy with this result!
