The Beatrix top is a fairly simple woven tshirt with a button back feature. It’s a really nicely drafted top with the added bonus of different front bodice pieces for different cup sizes.
I made this in a lovely rayon which gives a nice drape and I like the way this emphasised the shaping of the top; for my preference, I wouldn’t make this in a stiffer fabric as I wouldn’t want to lose that shape.
The instructions are really clear and it’s a nice simple make; the button band adds to the time taken but it’s simple to do, particularly if your machine has a one step buttonhole function like mine.
