Buy the Beatrix Top sewing pattern from Made by Rae. Beatrix is a button-back pullover top with a simple silhouette. With two views that offer different sleeve lengths, button placket options, and a shirttail or banded hem, Beatrix is a truly versatile pattern. Two different front bodice pieces are included (A/B cup and C/D cup) to help you achieve a custom fit. This modern wardrobe basic is sure to become a new favourite!

Suggested fabrics: Woven lightweight cotton- and linen-blend fabrics such as voile, rayon challis, shot cotton, shirting, double gauze, lawn, broadcloth, and lightweight chambray.
Fabric requirements:
View A short sleeve: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/4 yd (2.1 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/2 – 1 3/4 yd (1.4 – 1.6 m).
View A 3/4-length sleeve: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/2 – 2 2/3 yd (2.3 – 2.4 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 yd (1.8 m).
View B: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 3 1/4 – 3 1/3 yd (3 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 2/3 – 3 yd (2.4 – 2.7 m).
If you would like to use two different fabrics for View B, you will need 1 yd of a second fabric for the contrast bands. Subtract 1 yd from the listed yardage to get the amount of main fabric required.
Sizing: XS – XXL with A/B and C/D cups (approx. UK 8/10 – 18/20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Six 3/8″ or 1/2″ buttons; 3/4 yd lightweight fusible interfacing.
