Waves & Wild Penelope Pinafore

Buy the Penelope Pinafore sewing pattern from Waves & Wild. This is a relaxed pinafore dress with either tie straps (which don’t need undoing to take the garment on and off) or traditional buckles. There are two lengths – mini to sit above the knee, and midi to cover the knee - and a back split can be added to both lengths. There are also FIVE pockets for hiding all your stuff!

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight woven fabric such as corduroy, denim or linen. Fabrics with a little stretch will create the most comfortable dress but non-stretch fabrics can be used.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 160 - 220 cm (1 3/4 - 2 1/2 yd).

Sizing: XXS – 5XL (approx. UK 6 – 30/32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart

Notions: Some options require a small amount of medium interfacing, maximum of 20 cm (1/4 yd) // Button front option: 10 buttons, approx. 25 mm (1") // Button side option: 4 buttons, approx. 15 mm (5/8") // Buckle option: two 38 mm (1 1/2") buckles and corresponding buttons.
