Buy the Sylvie Dress sewing pattern from Vikisews. Sylvie is a semi-fitted dress with a fitted waist. The dress features a waistline seam, faux wrap front and waist pleats. There is a double layer yoke at the back with the shoulder seam shifted towards the front. The bodice is gathered at the front and back waist. The front skirt consists of two overlapping parts and features pleats in the left-hand side seam. The dress has a foldover collar with a collar stand, a deep V-neckline, and a slightly extended shoulder line. The set-in sleeves are long and semi-fitted. The bottom of the sleeve features pleats and a bias-bound slit. The sleeves are finished with cuffs with a button and loop closure. The dress closes with an invisible zipper in the left-hand side seam. The dress is above-knee length.

The dresses in the photos are made from satin. The fabric is medium-weight, soft, and low-stretch. The fibre content is polyester + elastane.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55") wide fabric, cut in one direction: 1.98 - 2.6 m (2 1/8 - 2 7/8 yd) // 150 cm (60") wide fabric, cut in one direction: 1.93 - 2.5 m (2 1/8 - 2 3/4 yd).

Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
