Buy the Roni Hood sewing pattern from Vikisews. Roni is a semi-fitted, padded, detachable hood that features wide horizontal quilting. The front has an open end zipper at the centre. There is a casing along the edge of the hood with a cord threaded through it. The cord is secured with two metallic cord locks. Roni is waist-length.

Suggested fabrics: Blended raincoat fabric, Dewspo, twill, taffeta, Taslan, etc.
The main fabric is also used for the lining.
For the insulation layer, use Alpolux, Isosoft, Thinsulate, polyester batting 200 g/m2.
The hood in the photos is made in outerwear Dewspo fabric (100% polyester). This fabric is medium-weight, structured, windproof and water-resistant. The insulation layer is polyester batting 200 g/m2.
Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.
Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 1.42 - 1.6 m (1 1/2 - 1 3/4 yd) // 150 cm (59") wide fabric: 1.09 - 1.24 m (1 1/4 - 1 3/8 yd).
Sizing: XS/S or M/L or XL (approx. UK 6 – 8/10 or UK 10 – 14/16 or UK 16/18 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
The PDF pattern includes 4 height options:
Height 1 = 154 – 160 cm (5’1″ – 5’3″)
Height 2 = 162 – 168 cm (5’4″ – 5’6″)
Height 3 = 170 – 176 cm (5’7″ – 5’9″)
Height 4 = 178 – 184 cm (5’10” – 6′1″)
Model Inna: Height 172 cm / Bust 84 cm / Waist 64 cm / Hips 94 cm. Inna is wearing size XS/S in height 3.
Notions:
– Polyester batting, 150 cm (59") wide, 0.56 - 0.8 m (5/8 - 7/8 yd)
– One open end zipper, 50 - 60 cm (19 5/8" - 23 5/8") long depending on height
