Vikisews Odette Dress

Buy the Odette Dress sewing pattern from Vikisews. Odette is a semi-fitted, straight-cut dress, slightly flared at the bottom. It features a detachable belt that closes with a buckle. There are bust darts at the front and shoulder darts at the back. The dress has a centre back seam that ends in a hemline slit. The set-in sleeves are long and semi-fitted. The neckline is round and closes with a button and loop at the back. The dress is below mid-calf length.

Suggested fabrics: Dress-weight wool, crepe, dress-weight viscose, silk, artificial silk, satin, silk velvet.

The dresses in the photos are made from artificial silk. The fabric is medium-weight, pliable, soft, without stretch. The fibre content is 100% polyester.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55") wide fabric, cut in one direction: 1.88 - 2.86 m (2 - 3 1/8 yd) // 150 cm (60") wide fabric, cut in one direction: 1.88 - 2.86 m (2 - 3 1/8 yd).

Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
