Vikisews Lacey Dress PDF

Buy the Lacey Dress sewing pattern from Vikisews. Lacey is a close-fitting slip dress with an accentuated waist. The dress is bias-cut and is additionally fitted with a centre back seam. There are bust darts at the front. The dress is self-lined, sleeveless, and has spaghetti straps. There are decorative buttons and button loops along the entire length of the left side. The left side seam ends in a slit that is also trimmed with buttons and button loops that can be used to adjust the height of the slit. Lacey is midi length.

Suggested fabrics: Silk, artificial silk, dress-weight viscose, charmeuse.

Use the same fabric for the lining. This is very important for bias-cut garments. Even the slightest difference in the properties of the outer fabric and lining can cause distortion in the final garment.

The dress in the photos is made of charmeuse. The fabric is medium-weight, pliable, soft, non-stretch. The fibre content is 100% polyester.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55") wide fabric, cut on the bias: 3 - 3.95 m (3 1/4 - 4 3/8 yd).

Sizing: 34 – 46 (approx. UK 6 – 14/16, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements. This pattern only includes up to size 46 (even though additional sizes appear on the size chart).

Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.
