Buy the Emory Dress sewing pattern from Vikisews. Emory is a close-fitting dress with an asymmetrical front. It features six stitched pleats along the left side seam, from the bust line to the hip line, with the bust darts transferred to the pleats. On the back, the shoulder darts have been transferred to the neckline, and the waist has waist darts. The centre back seam has an invisible zipper fastening at the top and a slit at the bottom. The neckline is round, and the shoulder line is slightly increased and widened to accommodate shoulder pads. The long set-in sleeve has a vertical elbow dart. The front and back of the dress are lined. The front and back hemlines are asymmetrical and are finished with facings. Emory is below-the-knee length, slightly shorter on the left side than on the right.

If you would like to order a printed A0 copy shop pattern, please complete your PDF purchase, then upload the A0 file for your chosen height here. For example, to print size 52 in height 4, upload the A0 file labelled '52-4′. Note for designs with linings, you may need to upload two A0 files (one for the garment, and one for the lining). Suggested fabrics: Dress-weight wool with elastane, gabardine cotton, dress-weight stretch denim, heavy or mid weight double knits, stretch velour.
For the lining, the designer recommends blended fibres (viscose + elastane) or synthetics (polyester + elastane).
Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.
Main: 140 cm wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 1.8 - 2.25 m.
Lining: 140 cm wide fabric: 1.2 - 1.35 m.
Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
