Buy the Helga Shirt sewing pattern from Tessuti Fabrics. Helga is a winning combination of loose, comfortable and stylish. The pattern includes two options - collarless (View A) and mandarin-style collar (View B). Features include a swing back and side seams that angle to the front and finish with a clever stepped hem.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following format:

Suggested fabrics: Linen, cotton, lightweight wool, wool crepe and firmer silk (dupion and taffeta).

Fabric requirements: 112 cm wide fabric (sizes XXS-S only): 2.00 - 2.20 m // 140 cm wide fabric: 1.65 - 1.85 m.

Sizing: XXS – XL (approx. UK 8/10 – 18, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 40 cm of interfacing; four 18 mm buttons.

Summer vibes

Another take on the Helga but this time in summer weight double gauze. Slightly tricky to work with but we'll worth the effort

Fun shirt

I generally love tessuti patterns and this is no exception.  Thanks to the clear instructions this turned out a really fun and fast make. It hangs beautifully with a slight sway back and the staggered hemline is very flattering.  I made it in a brushed cotton which drapes well. I've also made one in linen but it's too stiff a fabric for this shape.  It does size up big so I've merged a medium up top for my bust but tapered to a small on the body. Very happy with it . Can see me making more
