Buy the Fairway Trousers sewing pattern from TAUKO. Fairway by Kaisa Rissanen is a mid-rise trouser with a double-button closure and side pockets. The pattern includes two distinct leg variations: a straight leg version for a timeless, streamlined look, and a pleated hem variation that adds a subtle, structured flair. You can also add belt loops and back pockets. Depending on your choice of fabric, this pattern can easily transition between casual and more dressed-up occasions, making it a true wardrobe staple.

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Note: The pattern does not include pieces for the back pocket, fly shield, belt loops, or leg hem facing. These are all simple rectangles which you will cut using measurements provided in the instructions.

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight woven fabrics with no stretch, such as cotton, hemp, or twill. Consider using wool for a twist on classic trousers.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 161 - 337 cm (63.4" - 132.7").

Sizing: 1 – 9 (approx. UK 6 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Interfacing; two 1 cm (0.4") buttons/press studs; zipper, 14 cm (5.5") for sizes 1-3 or 17 cm (6.7") for sizes 4-9.
