Shacket - Simplicity S1504

I wanted a drop shoulder, loose fitting shacket. I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted in existing patternsso have used the PJ top pattern.

It’s worked perfectly. It’s exactly as I imagined and is toasty warm.

It’s actually wool coating ( so prob bit thick for usual shacket) with leatherette on collar and as binding for pockets.
The bottom pocket is from maccalls 7470 shirt dress and works well.

Sorry if anyone’s looking for info about pyjamas!

I have used it to make PJs but used smaller size.  It works well even though the collar and piping instructions are a bit strange.
