Papercut Patterns Fjord Cardi

This a sweat shirting fabric (fleecy on one side), it was pretty easy to deal with mostly but it was a bit bulky when it came to doing the neck band and pockets. I even finished the seams on my late Grandma’s & Mum’s overlocker which I’ve only just recently drummed up the courage to use. I probably could have made the entire cardigan on the overlocker but I’m still learning what I can do using the overlocker. I made the long version, there is a cropped version which I think I’ll make next time in a lighter weight knit fabric.

Fjord Cardi review

I wanted a cropped jacket pattern for some slightly stretchy suiting I had, and this turned out perfect! Pattern was easy to follow, Papercut has beautiful packaging and layout as well. I sized down for a less roomy fit with no issues, only had to make the cuffs a bit wider, probably due to my not so stretchy fabric.
