Review of Newlook 6588

I make quite a few hoodie for my son and this pattern was just a bit different. It's quite long in length which suited my son and I think a thick or doubles faced fleece would be ideal. I like that the pattern is unisex too.

The instructions are good with easy to follow pictures. I made view C in size M.

I didn't make any alterations to the pattern, but I thought the hood was a bit big, my son thought so too. I'd definitely want to downsize the hood next time.

The instructions for the hood and inset seem easy, but in reality we're a little more challenging to get right. Take your time and avoid stretching  the inset at all costs.

Overall, my son's very happy and loves his new hoodie. I have further plans to use the pattern again and make a shorter version for myself.
