Buy the M7985 Tops and Trousers sewing pattern from McCall’s. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. The very loose-fitting top and tunics have a self faced yoke with forward shoulder, upper and lower fronts with inside casing for drawstring, neckband, front button closing and narrow hems. A, C: Sleeves. B: Bias tape armhole finish, purchased trim. B, C: Shaped hem, wrong side shows. C: Collar and side slits. The straight-legged, semi-fitted pull-on pants have an elasticised waist, side seam pockets and stitched hems.
