McCalls Misses’ Flared Knit Top and Dress 7407

My face is smiling, but I am not pleased with this dress! It was easy to sew, but I gave it an all day sewing time because cutting out these giant panels took forever. The directions say to size down if you're between sizes, which I did, but I could have gone down another one or TWO sizes! The bust is where I sized down and the top part is still huge and swallows me. The arm holes show my bra. In my opinion, the circle part of the dress is too large, and would look better if it was literally halved. The whole thing makes me look like I'm wearing a mumu, and I seriously love circle and tent dresses and wear them often. This one is not flattering, unless I suppose you completely size down 2 sizes... Would not make again, waste of time and yards and yards of fabric!
