Breezy Jumpsuit

I would never have chosen this pattern as I thought it was just for knits, but I was inspired by another foldliner on facebook.  I chose an art gallery fabric,100% rayon with a lovely floaty feel.  It worked beautifully with the pattern and the wide legs make it feel like a dress.  The pattern itself is for true beginners so includes lots of basic information for sewing.  At only five pattern pieces, it seems  pretty straightforward but I just couldnt get the fit right under the arms.  I had to make two toiles and change the pattern   until I was happy.   Other adjustments were to sew up the gap at the front to be much higher and also insert an invisible zip into the back so that it was much easier to get on and off.  I love the finished garment, especially the neckline, and would recommend this jumpsuit.
