Nice pattern! - Maria Wrap Apron

Such a lovely apron pattern! I was originally making one as a gift, but I made a slight error with the pockets, so I decided I will make two and keep the slightly messed up (but still very nice) one for myself. :) The chest on the one I'm keeping does feel a little tight, so I might cut V2 with more room.

Maria Wrap Apron by Maven Patterns

I'm really happy to have this Apron; I'm the kind of person that seems to attract mess and after a day of sewing, you can pretty much guarantee that I'll be covered in stray threads and random bits of fabric offcuts; which is usually how I then dash out of the door to run errands. I needed a 'sewing uniform' and this is now it.
The pattern comes together really nicely; the armholes and neck are finished with facings and I can see how you could make this apron fully reversible if you wanted to.
It comes in sizes Small through to Extra Large - I cut a medium but then did add a bit of extra room in the chest area, which I always need.
The pattern also seems nicely drafted and I didn't incur any problems putting it together; I rather liked that it came with a template which you glue to card to help create the shaping of the curved pockets My only gripe - and its a teeny one - is the seam allowances are given in cms and 6 mm which I had to pause and translate; my brain - and sewing machine footplate - can only deal with increments in inches!
All in all, if you like Japanesque artisan vibe of this apron, I'd definitely recommend this pattern.
