Barcelona is the perfect dress to take you from day to evening with two bodice options: a classic boat neck (Version A) or sassy V back (Version B). The dress has a bound neckline and armholes, invisible zip, and in-seam side pockets. Designed to make a statement in stripes with its chevron detail bias cut skirt, Barcelona is just as delightful in a plain fabric, or make it in an elegant cloth for a chic and glamorous look!

Suggested fabrics: Designed with a stripe in mind, Barcelona would also work well in a plain or printed cloth. Use a woven light to medium dress weight fabric with a soft stable hand such as denims, chambrays, linen, fine wools, brocade.

Note soft and drapey cloths may require extra ease at the hips to allow for the extra dropping that will occur at the hem, and it may be advisable to omit the pockets.

Fabric requirements: Stripe requirements are based on a 2 cm wide stripe. Different stripe designs, repeating patterns, or check matching may take more or less fabric to match.

150 cm (60") wide fabric: Horizontal stripe, 2.15 m (2 3/8 yd) // Lengthwise stripe, 2.1 m (2 3/8 yd) // Plain, 1.85 m (2 1/8 yd).

115 cm (44") wide fabric: Horizontal stripe, 2.8 m (3 1/8 yd) // Lengthwise stripe, 2.65 m (3 yd) // Plain, 2.35 m (2 5/8 yd).
