Liesl + Co Kensington Knit Skirt

Buy the Kensington Knit Skirt sewing pattern from Liesl + Co. It's a quick-to-sew, comfortable-to-wear, pull-on knit skirt with a hidden elastic waist detail. Both views have a yoke and straight skirt. View B has a pleated overlay with ties to look like a clever wrap skirt.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PAPER (next working day dispatch on orders and FREE UK delivery over £50). This option is only available for sizes 0 – 20 (because the designer currently only prints this pattern in paper format for sizes 0 – 20). If you would like to purchase sizes 16 – 30, please select the copy shop option.

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you'll need to download the digital instructions, as we don't print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: This pattern works best with knit fabrics like ponte, jersey, interlock, and French terry.

Sizes 0 – 20

View A: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 2 yd (0.9 - 1.8 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 yd (0.9 m).

View B: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2 - 2 3/4 yd (1.8 - 2.5 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 2 yd (0.9 - 1.8 m).

Sizes 16 – 30

View A: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/4 - 2 yd (1.6 - 1.8 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 1 1/2 yd (0.9 - 1.4 m).

View B: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 yd (2.3 - 2.5 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 yd (1.4 - 1.6 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 20 (approx. UK 8 – 20) or US 16 – 30 (approx. UK 18/20 – 32). Please check the size charts and finished garment measurements.

Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. In the 16-30 size range, the waist and hips have been increased to better suit an apple or pear shape.

Notions: Coordinating thread; 1 1/2 yd of 1" elastic.

PDF pattern includes: Illustrated instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (23 pages for sizes 0-20, 27 pages for sizes 16-30); 36″ wide copy shop pattern (1 sheet for either size range); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets for either size range). This pattern is a layered PDF so you can print only the size(s) you need.
