Butterick Vintage Dress B6889

Buy the B6889 Vintage 1950's Dress sewing pattern from Butterick. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. This casual dress has a smart button-closing down the left side. The dress, which falls in free lines from the shoulders, is deftly shaped by the tie-around belt. Note the extended shoulders in cap effect. Pocket in view B.

Notions: Thread. A, B: Seven ³/₄" (2 cm) buttons, one hook and eye, one pair of ¹/₂" (1.3 cm) purchased shoulder pads or crinoline and batting (see fabric amounts). Also for B: 2³/₈ yds. (2.2 m) of ³/₈" (1 cm) wide flexible braid.
