Buy the B6294 Tunic and Trousers sewing pattern from Butterick. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Loose-fitting tunic has back longer than front, wrong side shows, side slits, and narrow hem. A, B: Collar, collar band, back pleat, yoke, forward shoulder seams, no shoulder seams, sleeve pleats, continuous lap, button cuffs, fly button/band closing. C: Bias neck binding. Tapered pants (semi-fitted through hips) have elasticized waist, and leg bands D, and side pockets. Sleeves C and hems E: Stitched hems. C, Contrast D: For moderate stretch knits only.
