Butterick Tops’, Dress, Vest & Pants 6388

Butterick 6388 is on it's way to becoming a TNT pattern for me.
The fit is easy and comfortable to wear. The design lines and cool collar make this top an interesting piece.
You could do some really nice color blocking with this patten too.
The amount of ease built into the pattern was just right for me and I also liked that there are a good amount of markings included to make sure the collar is lined up correctly.
Overall the pattern is quite easy to sew. The only part of the construction that puts this pattern in the advanced beginner category is having to match the curves of the back yoke and back pieces. Seriously though, this is super easy to make.

The only critisism I have of the pattern is the use of a 5/8in seam allowance. That just wastes fabric.
