Butterick dress 5030

I made this in a simple cotton with a basic lining material. The pattern was easy to follow and sew together. The instructions don't come with any lining so I drafted my own to help the dress sit better. Its fastened together with just 2 hook and eyes which can make you feel a little self conscious and worried about any 'mishaps', however the style of the dress means this has never been an issue. My main criticism would be that, if you have even slightly larger than usual ****, the dress comes up as VERY low cut, major FBAs needed (I would recommend anyone to make a toile of this dress first, as even if you don't usually need an FBA, you may need with this pattern to save revealing too much!)
