Butterick dress 6207

I made the short-sleeved dress. The pattern is well drafted and surprisingly true to size for a big 4 (I made the medium and my measurements put me in a 12 on top and 14 on the bottom). Came together quickly and the instructions were easy to follow. I used a slightly stiff french terry in navy. It's casual, but not to the point of looking like a house dress. I intend to add patch pockets at the hips (I love pockets on simple dresses).

I liked the pattern so much that I've already cut out the long sleeved top in a striped light weight double-knit.
