A fabulous 1950s pattern, super simple to make, just watch out for the sizing.

It took me a lot longer than 4 hours! There is miles and miles of binding to do but it did mean I learned to use my binding foot so I could do it all in one pass. Have had to add extra fabric under arms due to full bust and also had to put a little tuck in the front to stop it falling off my shoulders. The pattern seemed to have all the usual fit problems for my shape (which suggests it's pretty good compared with others) but it wasn't so obvious how to make those alterations. Interesting project nonetheless and it does get worn!

I do love this pattern but it did come up a bit small for me so as long as I'm breathing in a didn't eat cake that day it's extremely flattering! :)
Here's a full blog post on it for Minerva Crafts where you can see it in action at my gigs!!
