Suggested fabrics: Light/medium weight woven fabric. Lightweight fabrics with good drape such as viscose, rayon or silk are great. Slightly more structured wovens such as poplin, lawn, linen blends or chambray work well too and are more hardwearing.

Fabric requirements: Yardage is based on directional fabric. If your fabric is non-directional you may need less.

140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 40 - 130 cm (3/8 - 1 3/8 yd).

Sizing: Preemie/small newborn – 12 years. Please check the size chart.

Note: There are two fit options for preemie/small newborn - 4 years. Trim fit is for those wearing undies or disposable nappies. Fluffy fit is for those wearing cloth nappies.

Notions: Maximum of 11 cm (4 3/8″) of lightweight interfacing for your waistband if using an extremely lightweight fabric; scrap of light/medium weight interfacing if you are making the drawstring option or adding pockets; waistband elastic, width depends on size; leg cuff elastic, 25 - 30 mm (1″ – 1 1/4″) wide for all sizes; drawstring cord or ribbon (optional).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/legal/letter print-at-home pattern (24 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets); projector pattern. This pattern has layers so you can print just the sizes(s) you need.
