Buy the Wayfinder Pants/Trousers sewing pattern from Waves & Wild. These relaxed woven pants have an elasticated waist and elasticated ankles. The pattern has both low rise and mid rise options, as well as options to add a real or faux drawstring and in-seam pockets.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces are split across two A0 sheets. 

Suggested fabrics: Light/medium weight woven fabric. Lightweight fabrics with good drape such as viscose, rayon or silk are the best option. Slightly more structured wovens such as poplin, lawn, linen blends or chambray work well too.

Fabric requirements: Yardage is based on directional fabric. If your fabric is non-directional you may need less.

140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 140 – 250 cm (1 1/2 – 2 3/4 yd).

Sizing: XXS – 7XL (approx. UK 6 – 34/36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Notions: 11 cm (4 3/8″) of lightweight interfacing for your waistband if using an extremely lightweight fabric; scrap of light/medium weight interfacing if you are making the drawstring option or adding pockets; waistband elastic, 45 – 50 mm (1 3/4″ – 2″) wide; leg cuff elastic, 30 – 38 mm (1 1/4″ – 1 1/2″) wide; drawstring cord or ribbon (optional).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/legal/letter print-at-home pattern (28 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets); projector pattern. This pattern has layers so you can print just the sizes(s) you need.
