Suggested fabrics: Sweater knits.

For the pocket lining, the designer recommends lightweight knit fabrics: jersey knits, interlock knits.

The pants in the photos are made of soft sweater knit. The fibre content is wool + polyester. The pocket bag is made of jersey knit. The fibre content is cotton.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 160 cm (63″) wide fabric, cut on fold: 1.12 – 2.17 m (1 1/4 – 2 3/8 yd).

Pocket lining: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 0.29 – 0.31 m (3/8 yd).

Sizing: XS – XL (approx. UK 4 – 16/18, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

The PDF pattern includes 4 height options:

Height 1 = 154 – 160 cm (5’1″ – 5’3″)
Height 2 = 162 – 168 cm (5’4″ – 5’6″)
Height 3 = 170 – 176 cm (5’7″ – 5’9″)
Height 4 = 178 – 184 cm (5’10” – 6′1″)

Model Valery: Height 168 cm (5’6″) / Bust 84 cm (33 1/8″) / Waist 64 cm (25 1/4″) / Hips 97 cm (38 1/4″). Valery is wearing size M.

Model Anastasia: Height 171 cm (5’7″) / Bust 84 cm (33 1/8″) / Waist 64 cm (25 1/4″) / Hips 88 cm (34 5/8″). Anastasia is wearing size S.

Notions: 

– Lightweight knit interfacing, 140 cm (55″) wide, or fusible stay tape, 4 strips, each 1.5 cm (3/8″) wide x 20 cm (7 7/8″) long
– Elastic, 2.5 cm (1″) wide, 0.60 – 0.92 m (5/8 – 1 yd)
– Matching thread
