Vikisews Colette Dress PDF

Buy the Colette Dress sewing pattern from Vikisews. Colette is a close-fitting dress. It has an asymmetrical one-shoulder design, with a long sleeve on the left side and an adjustable shoulder strap on the right. The fitted, set-in sleeve is cut on the bias. The dress is designed with an applied bodice piece as an inner layer. The outer layer features a draping detail both on the front and back. The high slit effect is achieved by attaching a separate side front skirt piece to the front. The dress closes with an invisible zipper in the left side seam. Colette is finished with a free-hanging lining and is below mid-calf length.

Suggested fabrics: Natural silk, artificial silk, satin, dress-weight viscose.

The dress in the photos is made of artificial silk. The fabric is medium weight, soft, non-stretch and with good drape. The fibre content is 100% polyester.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 2.65 - 3.6 m (2 7/8 - 3 7/8 yd) // 150 cm (59") wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 2.38 - 3.33 m (2 5/8 - 3 5/8 yd).

Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.

Model Sofia: Height 172 cm (5'8") / Bust 84 cm (33 1/8") / Waist 64 cm (25 1/4") / Hips 90 cm (35 3/8"). Sofia is wearing size 36 in height 3.
