Buy the Lora Dress sewing pattern from True Bias. The Lora pattern is an empire waist dress with four views. All views have underbust gathers, a self-lined bodice, and twelve loop buttons along the centre front. Views A and C have half-inch spaghetti straps at the shoulders, while Views B and D have long puff sleeves. The dress is fitted through the waist and hips and has a straight fit through the skirt. Views A and B end just above the knee, and Views C and D are hemmed a couple inches above the ankle.

Sizing: US 0 – 18 or US 14 – 32 (approx. UK 6/8 – 18/20 or UK 16 – 34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.
Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. The 14 – 32 block has a slightly more curvy set of dimensions than the 0 – 18 block. The 14 – 32 block has a D instead of a C cup (meaning a 4″ rather than a 3″ difference between your full and high bust) and has a 1″ larger difference between the waist and hip circumference. Both size ranges are drafted for an average height of 5’5″.
Notions: Twelve 3/8" (10 mm) shank buttons; lightweight fusible interfacing (Views A and B, 1 1/2 yd / Views C and D, 2 yd); hand sewing needle // Views B and D only: 3/8" (10 mm) elastic, 1 1/2 yd for sizes 0-18 or 2 yd for sizes 14-32.
