Buy the Stevie Tunic Add-on sewing pattern from Tilly and the Buttons. Make even more styles of Stevie tops and dresses with this add-on of bonus pattern pieces and instructions. The add-on includes three-quarter length sleeves to make Stevie wearable for more seasons. It also includes a gathered skirt so you can turn Stevie into an easy-breezy, oversized smock dress, with an extra-large pocket to stash your bits and bobs!

NOTE: This is not a complete pattern. You must have already purchased the original Stevie Tunic pattern to use this add-on. If you have not yet purchased the original pattern, you can do so here. 

Suggested fabrics: Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics, such as linen, double gauze, chambray, cotton lawn, viscose (rayon), Tencel (lyocell), sandwashed silk or crepe de chine. For the version with sleeves, go for a drapey fabric (for example, washed linen or linen viscose blend rather than crisp 100% linen). The gathered dress version would also be nice in a low stretch knit such as ponte or lightweight French terry.

Fabric requirements:

Gathered dress with short or short cuff sleeves: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 2.6 – 3 m (2 7/8 – 3 1/4 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric (sizes UK 6-12 only), 2.6 m (2 7/8 yd).

Gathered dress with three-quarter sleeves: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 3 – 3.4 m (3 1/4 – 3 7/8 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric (sizes UK 6-12 only), 3 m (3 1/4 yd).

Three-quarter sleeve top: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 1.5 – 2.3 m (1 3/4 – 2 1/2 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric: 2 – 2.8 m (2 1/4 – 3 1/8 yd).

Three-quarter sleeve tunic dress: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 1.8 – 3.2 m (2 – 3 1/2 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric: 2.6 – 3.4 m (2 7/8 – 3 7/8 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 34. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Matching thread; 0.4 m (1/2 yd) iron-on interfacing (similar weight to your fabric) // For button loop version: one 12-18 mm (1/2″-3/4″) button and elasticated hairband.
