Buy the Adele Jumpsuit sewing pattern from Sew Love Patterns. Adele is a feminine and fun jumpsuit or playsuit. The jumpsuit has cropped, ankle-length trousers. There are two sleeve options – elbow length or short puff sleeves, both of which gather into elastic at the sleeve head and also at the cuff. The bodice has a sweetheart neckline with gathering at the bust. The opening is with a centre back zip, and there are optional pockets.

The Adele Jumpsuit is gorgeous in pretty polka dots and flirty florals, or make it in velvet, satin or sequins for a party playsuit. Get creative and play with mixing fabrics, making the bust and sleeves in a contrast fabric to the bodice and trousers.

Adele is a sister pattern to the Chloe Dress and is designed so you can swap the bodices for more variations!

Suggested fabrics: The Adele Jumpsuit works well with medium weight woven fabrics such as viscose, tencel, crepe, velvet, satin, rayon and cotton. To get a fluid feel with the trousers, use a fabric with a fluid drape such as viscose or crepe. This will also gather beautifully at the bust and sleeves.

Fabric requirements: The fabric amount given is for directional prints.

150 cm (60″) wide fabric: Jumpsuit with elbow length sleeves, 3 m (3.3 yd) // Jumpsuit with short sleeves, 2.8 m (3 yd) // Playsuit with elbow length sleeves, 2.4 m (2.7 yd) // Playsuit with short sleeves, 2.2 m (2.4 yd).

115 cm (45″) wide fabric: Jumpsuit with elbow length sleeves, 4.2 m (4.7 yd) // Jumpsuit with short sleeves, 4 m (4.4 yd) // Playsuit with elbow length sleeves, 3 m (3.3 yd) // Playsuit with short sleeves, 2.8 m (3 yd).
