Fabric requirements: 148 cm (58″) wide fabric - cut one way: Sizes 4 - 14, 1.60 m (1.75 yd) // Sizes 16 - 20, 1.75 m (1.90 yd) // Sizes 22 - 30, 2.00 m (2.20 yd).

Sizing: 4 – 16 or 18 – 30 (approx. UK 4/6 – 16/18 or UK 18/20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

A brilliant top

I love Style Arc patterns - admittedly they are not for the faint-hearted sewist with written instructions taking precedent over diagrams. However, in their favour they are a great fit for me. There's always one point in the construction of a Style Arc garment that exemplifies the Pareto principle (20% of the job takes 80% of the time) and for me it was the bottom of the tabs - but having said that patience, a cool head and a cup of Darjeeling generally sees you through.

My first version of the Raph top was a relatively fine waffle knit jersey and it looks fab! I think the top can be dressed up or down and I love it so much there's a second one ready to make up waiting by my sewing machine.

Please don't be put off from Style Arc patterns their designs are timeless, well designed and a joy to wear.
