Buy the Honeygirl Tee sewing pattern from Paradise Patterns. Honeygirl is a comfortable, fitted tee designed specifically for cotton pointelles. Inspired by the shrunken tees of the 90s, View A is a baby tee featuring a chunky crew neck with short cap sleeves and a cropped length. View B has long sleeves, a scoop neck, and a hip length hem. The two sleeve lengths have their own pattern files with separate bodice and sleeve pieces so that the fit is just right. You can mix and match the necklines and shirt lengths however you like to build even more variations for your wardrobe.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: This pattern has been designed specifically for cotton pointelles (openwork knits with dainty, repeating geometric patterns).

Other knits with high stretch and low recovery can also be used. For compatibility with the neckband, the fabric must have 60% horizontal stretch. The best options are cotton double knits, rib knits, and thermal knits with less than 5% spandex. 100% cotton jerseys can work if the stretch percentage is high enough, but the designer does not recommend using jerseys with spandex.

Fabric requirements:

View A (cropped length/short sleeve): 45″ (115 cm) wide fabric: 1 – 1.6 yd (0.9 – 1.5 m) // 60″ (150 cm) wide fabric: 1 yd (0.9 m).

View B (hip length/long sleeve): 45″ (115 cm) wide fabric: 1.6 – 2.4 yd (1.5 – 2.2 m) // 60″ (150 cm) wide fabric: 1.6 yd (1.5 m).

Sizing: A – P (approx. UK 6 – 34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

The pattern includes B cup and D cup options. If you have a 2-3″ (5-7.5 cm) or less difference between your Upper Bust and Full Bust measurements, use the B cup front (no dart). If you have a difference of 4″ (10 cm) or more, use the D cup (darted) front. Please note that a sewing cup size is not the same as your bra cup size.

Notions: Ballpoint needle.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (15 pages for short sleeve, 21 pages for long sleeve); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet for short sleeve, 2 sheets for long sleeve) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: Yes.
