Buy the M8442 His and Hers Lined Vests/Waistcoats sewing pattern from McCalls. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Easy to Sew unisex vests in sizes X-Small through X-Large. Vests in eight styles have V-neckline variations, optional pockets and back buckled belt.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following format:

Suggested fabrics: Challis, chambray, cotton, cotton blends, denim, flannel, gabardine, lightweight corduroy, linen, velveteen, wool, wool blends. Lining: Lining fabrics. Interfacing: Lightweight fusible. Note: Not suitable for diagonals.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way designs fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: A (XS-S-M-L-XL), approx. UK sizes Women’s (6/8 – 24/26) Men’s (30/32 – 46/48, based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H: One 3/4″ (2cm) buckle. Vest A,B: Five 3/4″ (2cm) buttons. Vest C – G: Three 3/4″ (2cm) buttons. Also for Vest D: 5 1/8 yds. (4.7m) of piping. Also for Vest G: 5 5/8 yds. (5.0m) of 1/2″ (1.3cm) fold over braid or extra wide double fold bias tape. Vest H: 5 1/8 yds. (4.7m) of 1/2″ (1.3cm) fold over braid or extra wide double fold bias tape.
