Buy the Rose Pants sewing pattern from Made by Rae. Rose features a high waist, slash pockets, and a pleated or gathered front. The front waist is flat while the back waist is elasticised for comfort and style. Choose from three lengths: long, cropped, or shorts.

Suggested fabrics: Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics such as tencel twill, rayon, linen-rayon blends, silk noil, loose-weave cotton or linen blends, stretch twill, cotton sateen, or chambray.

Fabric requirements: Yardage estimates are intentionally generous to allow for space between pattern pieces and for fabric shrinkage. Extra fabric may be required for directional prints, nap, border prints, or design matching.

Long: 44″ (1.1 m) wide fabric: 2.75 – 3.25 yd (2.4 – 3 m) // 54″ (1.4 m) wide fabric: 2.5 – 3 yd (2.2 – 2.8 m).

Cropped: 44″ (1.1 m) wide fabric: 2.5 – 3 yd (2.2 – 2.8 m) // 54″ (1.4 m) wide fabric: 2.25 – 2.75 yd (1.9 – 2.5 m).

Shorts: 44″ (1.1 m) wide fabric: 1.5 – 2 yd (1.3 – 1.8 m) // 54″ (1.4 m) wide fabric: 1.25 – 1.75 yd (1.1 – 1.5 m).
