Buy the Balerno Bag sewing pattern from Greyfriars and Grace. The Balerno Bag is fully lined and has an optional magnetic clasp. This project is perfect for using up scraps from your stash or recycling fabric (some of the product photos show bags made using redundant curtains).

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Mid or heavy weight woven fabric, such as canvas, cotton, linen, cotton/linen mix, mid-weight denim and any upholstery fabric.

Fabric requirements: At least 44″ (110 cm) wide fabric: Main, at least 26″ (66 cm) // Lining, at least 26″ (66 cm).

Sizing: Finished bag measurements (not including handles): 18″ (45 cm) wide x 12.5″ (32 cm) high.

Notions: Magnetic closure (optional).
