The top features a shirt collar, cuffed sleeve, back yoke, inverted back pleat, and button loop at the neck. The pants feature a straight leg with a slightly paperbagged elastic waist, optional drawstring, in-seam pockets, and back pocket.

Suggested fabrics: For a more structured look, choose crisp cottons such as broadcloth, voile, poplin, chambray, and other shirtings. For a more cosy set, choose cotton flannel or light to midweight linen. For a more glamorous or evening look, choose drapey fabrics like silk crepe de chine, satin, tencel, rayon challis, and viscose. The top can also be made as a lightweight jacket or shacket in midweight cotton twills and lightweight wools.

Top: 45″ (1.15 m) wide fabric: 3.25 – 3.75 yd (3 – 3.4 m) // 58″ (1.5 m) wide fabric: 2.75 – 3 yd (2.5 – 2.7 m).

Pants: 45″ (1.15 m) wide fabric: 3 – 4.5 yd (2.7 – 4.1 m) // 58″ (1.5 m) wide fabric: 2.75 – 3.5 yd (2.5 – 3.2 m).

Top + Pants: 45″ (1.15 m) wide fabric: 6 – 7.5 yd (5.5 – 6.8 m) // 58″ (1.5 m) wide fabric: 4.5 – 6.25 yd (4.1 – 5.7 m).

Sizing: XXS – 4X (approx. UK 6 – 34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Fusible interfacing, 1 yd (0.9 m); five buttons, 3/8″-1/2″ (10-12 mm) wide; elastic, 1.5″ (37 mm) wide x 2 yd/m // Optional: drawstring, 1.5-2 yd/m (can be bought ready-made or sewn from self fabric).
